SpotOn, a progressive web app

During my third year of my studies I was offered an internship at Triple IT. Triple is a Full Service Digital Agency, located in Alkmaar. It has a number of ventures of which SpotOn is one. SpotOn is an web-based cloud clipping tool for livestreams. Users can make real-time clips of their favorite shows and post these to social media almost instantly. The platform gained a lot of traction as a result of Max Verstappen winning the Barcelona Grand Prix in 2016. Today, SpotOn is used by almost every major Dutch broadcaster.

At the start of my internship SpotOn was mostly web-based, but also had Flutter-based app. It was my objective to look for an alternative. The project was already using React and Typescript so I decided to design and create a React PWA, so it could all be stored in one single codebase.
